How is DeGenito.Ai different from other agencies?

What Google APIs do you use?

We use Google Lighthouse (performance/SEO scores), Chrome UX Report (real user metrics), Safe Browsing (malware check), URL Inspection (index status), Knowledge Graph (entity recognition), and Search Console (ranking data). These are the same tools Google uses internally — we just make them accessible to you.

What is AEO (Answer Engine Optimization)?

AEO stands for Answer Engine Optimization — it's how you get your business recommended when someone asks ChatGPT, Perplexity, or Google AI a question. We implement structured data, FAQ schema, llms.txt, and answer-optimized content so AI assistants cite your business by name. Am I locked into a long contract?

No. Engagements are scoped per project or as a monthly retainer with no long lock-ins. On a retainer you can move to month-to-month after the initial scope is delivered. Anything we build and any content we create is yours to keep — we never hold your business, data or domain hostage.

How do I know it's worth it before committing?

There's no fixed setup fee. The paid entry point is the AI Audit ($2,500–$7,500), which maps the highest-ROI work for your business and is credited toward your build. Implementation is then scoped to what you actually need rather than a one-size-fits-all package.

What exactly do I get and what does it cost?

You start with a free AI Visibility Scan that shows where you stand in Google and AI search. If you want a plan, the AI Audit ($2,500–$7,500, 1–2 weeks) maps your highest-ROI AI plays and is credited toward your build. From there we scope the actual work — Build, Grow or Operate — as a fixed project, a monthly retainer, performance-based, or a hybrid of base fee plus usage. You only pay for what your business actually needs.

How does the AI content engine work?

Our content engine analyzes your competitors' top-ranking pages, identifies high-value keywords, and generates SEO-optimized articles using AI. Before writing each article, we run a SERP analysis so every piece of content is better than what's currently ranking. Articles go through a human review queue before publishing.

How quickly will I see results?

It depends on scope. The AI Audit takes 1–2 weeks and gives you a concrete plan. Once implementation starts, content and technical fixes ship continuously. Most clients see measurable movement in Google rankings within 30–60 days, and improved AI-search visibility (ChatGPT, Perplexity) within 60–90 days. You get reporting that shows exactly what changed.

What happens to what you build if I leave?

It's yours. We hand over your assets — site, content, automations and any domains — and you can take them wherever you like. Everything we created stays with you. We never hold your business hostage.

Is AI-generated content good enough for SEO?

Yes — when done right. Our AI doesn't just generate generic text. It analyzes the top-ranking pages for each keyword, identifies what they cover, and writes content that's more comprehensive and specific. Every article goes through a human review queue before publishing. Google has confirmed that AI-generated content is fine as long as it's helpful and accurate.

Why does AI search optimization matter?

Why does Google Lighthouse show my SEO score as 92/100 instead of 100?

Because your site declares the Content-Signal directive (the new IAB standard for telling AI crawlers how they may use your content) in robots.txt. Lighthouse hasn't catalogued this directive yet, so it flags it as 'unknown' and docks 8 points — even though RFC 9309 says crawlers must tolerate unknown lines, and Google's own search crawler honors it. What is the AIO score in your analyzer?

Our AIO (AI Optimization) score is a 28-point audit that checks how well your website is optimized for AI search engines. It tests llms.txt, AI crawler access, structured data, FAQ schema, content structure, answer formatting, entity consistency, and more. A score of 80+ means AI assistants can find and recommend your business. Below 50 means you're likely invisible to AI search.
